Delete your LinkUp account

Start account deletion

1. Sign in to the LinkUp account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings → Delete account.
3. Read what will be removed, type DELETE and confirm.

If you are already signed in, the link opens your settings directly. Deletion requires the account’s authenticated session.

What is removed

Your profile, photos, memberships, saved plans, messages, connections/requests, associated reports, notifications and hosted hangouts are removed. Hosted group chats are deleted too, including participants’ messages in those groups. LinkUp email authentication, if configured through Supabase, is deleted. Your separate ChatGPT account is not deleted.

A minimal deletion-completion record (user ID, status and timestamp) is retained for 24 hours and cleaned on later authenticated requests to prevent delayed writes restoring deleted data. A pre-existing suspension record can remain for abuse prevention. Retained moderator actions are anonymized when the moderator deletes their account. Provider logs/backups may follow provider-controlled retention; see the Privacy Policy.

If deletion cannot finish immediately

The request is recorded and social activity is stopped. A useful error appears if image cleanup or identity-provider deletion fails. Retry Delete account in Settings to complete the remaining steps. LinkUp does not display a successful deletion result when required cleanup has failed.

Cannot sign in?

Try sign-in recovery. A verified owner support process is still needed for deletion requests from people unable to recover access.

OWNER ACTION REQUIRED: Add an operational account-deletion contact or request channel, specify the verification/response process, and confirm provider retention. Make this webpage and Privacy Policy accessible without the current private hosting audience gate before using their URLs in Google Play Console.
